cave princess’ design hit its one year anniversary this past week! (her ‘birthday’ is december 4.) I’d been toying with a ‘fashion cavegirl’ for a while but a year ago is when i hit the nail on the head, i think. I’m proud of the design and really like drawing her! here are some of my favourites. 🦕👑

what i do think is quite funny is how a bunch of 8 year old boys figured out on our own how to exploit the system and prevent the ss anne from leaving by blacking out from a loss after helping the puking guy, then assumed we couldn’t flip the truck asset because none of us tried it with hitmonlee

if i’ve forgotten a step or gotten something wrong definitely let me know. unlike the mew truck this is a real thing, but Truck Lore on my playground was: have the final stages of all three starters + pikachu + mewtwo in your party, push the truck over with a hitmonlee that knows strength

@fjaskgf's Cave Princess, walkin by with a big cartoon club slung over her shoulder. It dawned on me that I haven't been doing alt texts that actually explain much of anything, so. A busty woman is walking forward with a giant caveman club slung over her shoulder. She has long blue hair tied off in a big fluffy ponytail. She's wearing a puffy fancy lacy top with rips all across her chest, as well as on both puffy shoulder pieces. Below is a black corset with red string, and below THAT is a torn brown camo skirt, torn enough to reveal a black and red garment that appears to be basically a bikini bottom. Also, notably, she is decked out in plenty of jewelry, including a shiny black crown with red gems, a dinosaur themed necklace, a sundial watch, and black earrings that look like those big slabs of meat that Fred Flintstone eats I think. Also, speaking of meat, her mouth is covered in blood and she has a big ol' sharp grin. And she's looking at YOU!!!

going to start referring to Speed Racer (2008) as a biopic

it actually really fucks with me that there’s only one marley in 99.999% of the tellings of this story

die-hard christmas carol fans watching muppets for the first time and seeing marley and marley

intermission. this year’s takes place in 1968, started off with a fiery vietnam flashback, then a gorilla went on a date. coherency is hanging by a thread but that’s the appeal, plus some really good puppet work. i hope you enjoy this review of a play you’ll never see

the climax was scrooge and holmes yelling at each other overlooking the waterfalls at the end of time, where they asked people in the front row to spray them with water guns for the duration of the scene. it was better than Primer as far as time travel stories go imo

my brother is in a production of a christmas carol but last year the script he wrote involved sherlock holmes and scrooge using the candle of the ghost of christmas past to travel back in time and solve the murder of jacob marley, so i have no idea what to expect
