@jacksonhallman.bsky.social and I are teaming up to create the next PLL team (for fun, not for real), and we want your input to help us create it.
The first question is:
Where should we put the franchise? (We will collect answers and put the best ones up for vote)
@harrisonmvh.bsky.social is one of the best dudes in this community.
Lacrosse is lucky to have him & I am lucky to call him a friend.
You have always supported me & my goofy projects & it means the world to me. Thank you.
Also, check out the pod. It was a fun one with @gregbeast32.bsky.social

The Run Out is BACK!!
The first podcast of 2025 is here & I am joined by Kyle Bennet from @otblaxpod.bsky.social. Kyle tells us how he fell in love with lacrosse, what he thinks about the NLL season so far, & how he would handle the upcoming PLL draft if he were in charge of the Waterdogs.
Maybe apologize to Mike Pressler while youβre at it.

The designer in me can nitpick some of the details (especially for Palms), but overall they are solid.
I would put all 4 above most of the PLL rebrands.
Sticks In is up! Breaking down the Carolina Chaos coaching news, talking through the IL Top 50, then the great Charlotte North joins the pod. We talk:
- Launching WLL
- Growth in women's sports
- The Championship Series in February
- What's still to come

That's a good question I don't know the answer to, but I would think there is. Why say you can only bring 30 to camp, but allow you to have 35 signed in the off-season?
09.12.2024 21:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes, but even doing that for a player you don't intend to play costs you the opportunity to sign a player you might actually dress.
I am sure it's not a "good" contract, but it's still a contract for a spot on a team in a league where a lot of good players are on the outside looking in.
I just don't understand why they like him so much they re-signed him after not even dressing him while they had him signed last season and they were getting little to no production from the left.
09.12.2024 21:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Trade bait?
Why re-sign a player you signed last year and didn't dress for a single game?
What does Philly know that we dont?
09.12.2024 20:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This was so bad. Just wanted to try to minimize the loss of AT. "See, he wasn't even 'good'". I am glad AT stepped up for himself.
Doesn't even mention that he spent as many as 6 weeks getting NLL guys (aka the bulk of his roster) into his team in those championship runs.
I am trying to think of another lacrosse story that was this wild.
The closest I can come up with is when the Cannons traded Paul Rabil to the Lizards.
You will not be disappointed!
Pick up Phil's book and make a lacrosse fan in your life happy!
This really is the lords work Dan is doing.
Now that I live in New England, I need something that lays out all the possible games I can go to and when.
I would say that the details of how this went down (at least as far as we know them right now), raises this far above any coaching/roster issue we have ever seen in the PLL before.
And I won't be surprised if several players from this team take their talents elsewhere because of this.
