Although I don’t speak other languages, sometimes I’ll say a phrase in front of someone if I think they might be talking about me just to put the fear of god in them

Something like this happened to me too: I had my doctor call in a prescription (asthma) but they couldn’t find it initially. They clearly wanted to give me the vaccine but were stumped. I finally suggested they looks at my scripts and they found one for an asthma inhaler. I got my vaccine.

The Onion Made an Absolutely Unhinged Jeffrey Epstein Mockumentary "Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile" is a very silly deep dive on a very serious issue. In the current media landscape, it’s a wonder it even got made.

VERY FUNNY SCOOP: The Onion made a 20-minute Epstein/Trump mockumentary called β€œJeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile.” I got a sneak peek and it is gloriously dumb. Read about it/watch the trailer here: www.wired.com/story/the-on...

My flaming hot take is that there should be legal ramifications if a T-shirt ordered online that says it’s soft is not, in fact, soft.

Walgreens confirms to me that they, too, will provide Covid vaccines without a prescription nationwide if CDC formally adopts ACIP's recommendations. (Please note that, for both CVS and Walgreens, this change is still contingent on that formal adoption!)

Explainer has been updated to reflect this.

Bonkers CDC vaccine meeting ends with vote to keep COVID shot access A push to require prescriptions for every COVID shot failed in a split vote.

This is an entertaining and informative writeup of the shambolic CDC Covid meeting. The anti-vax nitwits came one vote short of making all Americans who want a Covid booster get a prescription for it.

Ok, I’m not saying it’s always going to work or be comfortable to say, esp for women, but I’ve been workshopping some anti-manspreading language on the subway and I think I’ve got something promising: β€œExcuse me. Would you mind moving your legs so I’ve got a little more room? Thanks.”
