For the original photoshoot, the combined weight of the diving suit and the girl, proved too heavy for the person in the suit to stay in position long enough to take the required shots. A frame was made to support the arms of the diver. This had to be removed in the retouching.

The front cover of Deceptive Bends, created by Hipgnosis, depicts an enigmatic scene in high-focus, with beautiful lighting: a diver on the jetty, holding a beautiful red dressed girl against a dramatic sky background.
How nice is this!

Vinyl records stimulate more areas of the brain compared to digital formats, enhancing emotional and sensory experiences.
The tangible presence, the cover art, and the warm sound of vinyl create a truly immersive journey. #PowerOfVinyl
Iron Maiden's best-selling album is The Number of the Beast, released in 1982. It has sold over 14 million copies worldwide.
The album's iconic tracks like "Run to the Hills" and the title track, along with its cultural impact, cemented its commercial success.

I am still a happy man, and now maybe more than ever. Time is mine!
I was on holiday last weeks. However, I have plenty of time now. After over 40 years of teaching (special education), I officially retired on August 1st.
