Bummed it’s the one weekend in ages I’m out of town

Inspired by the recent Corpse Flower (Titan arum) bloom at my local botanical garden. It only blooms for a short period every few years smells like rotting flesh, which attracts pollinators. I guess I’ve been thinking about death and decay a lot lately. #darkart #morbidanatomy #darksurrealism #art

I’m not liking the hair. I have trouble doing nice loose strokes, it always ends up with too many individual strand details on the hair

I personally don’t like the idea of engaging with people with the intention of getting them to follow me. I do interact with or share stuff that I like but I never have an ulterior motive or expect follows from it. This could just be a me thing.

I usually label stuff and then theoretically only people who have opted out of NSFW will see the cover up. It seems to work for me? Occasionally BlueSky will auto-add the wrong label but they are pretty good at removing it if you appeal

Wow he actually released it? I recall him telling me the entire reason for it was because he wanted to have a project he could put on Kickstarter where he could use the money raised to go traveling. He didn’t actually care about making the documentary at all other than access to celebs
