I’ll be venturing back in today to see any signs of said shutdown (which should be pretty basic at this point: closed visitor center and no ranger at the fee gate).

It’s about empathy… which I know has somehow become a bad word to some, but screw that, it’s cool to care.

It’s about community… doing what we can to protect immunocompromised and at risk folks. Especially folks who can’t get the vaccine because of how it impacts their immune system. This shot is for them.

It’s about history… that shows us that when vaccines are widely accepted we’re able to achieve herd immunity to make it damn near impossible for viruses to spread.

It’s about science… that proves this vaccine is safe.
