Heather, on the other hand, was holding on for dear life, the bumpy ride threatening to buck the inexperienced young girl off if she didn't keep her grip.

Heather shuddered, backing away fearfully from where her clothes now lay in shreds on the floor, gripping her empty pistol as her last lifeline.

"Where are we going?" She asked, "Are there others in town?"

Heather had probably guessed that this was the case, she just hadn't wanted to believe it. No time to freak out or panic, though. If she was still technically in Silent Hill, or at least being influenced by it, she'd have to find a way out.

This was all going over Heather's head a little. She looked back to where Marigold had indicated, squinting to see the mass of grey on the horizon. No luck in escaping the supernatural, she supposed.

"Uh, no," she responded as she nervously inched closer to the horse. The most experience she'd had+

"Heather," she replied, feeling underdressed without a hat to tip. She was still reeling from the realisation she had travelled somehow from Maine all the way to Louisiana that she almost didn't catch the last part of what Marigold had said.

"Sorry, what's going on? What do you mean, used to be?"

"What, is there a ren faire going on around here?" She said aloud. That was supposed to be an inside thought.

"O... Orleans?" She repeated, squinting in disbelief, "like, do you mean... -New- Orleans? Or France?"

Both were bad. One was maybe slightly worse. Either way, she was a long way from home.

She gratefully took the waterskin and had a big swig before handing it back. It was then she noted the +

"Where am I..?" She asked slowly, while wiping the dirt off of her skirt and jacket. She was glad to still feel the outline of her gun pressed against her side.

Heather blinked in confusion, wiping the sleep from her eyes with the back of her hand. She was fairly certain she hadn't fallen asleep in a hole in the ground, but now here she was, looking up at the stranger’s outstretched hand.

She reached up and took it cautiously and got to her feet.

Heather takes refuge in what she thinks is a safe, empty building, glad for the chance to relax for the night.

Cold, injured, and alone, but glad to be free of the Other World for the moment, Heather takes a moment to catch her breath and get her bearings, stowing her gun under her coat.
