Can hardly tell with how good it looks. Looks like a 3D rendering with the lighting you're adding

How is this a 2D sprite or pixel art related?

I like your idea. A hunger bar in itself has always been annoying (when it's done like Minecraft mainly) but there's no issue with it doing something else important

Imo it has more medieval (the skeleton game for PS1) vibes, so maybe having a way to have the camera move around and adding some small buildings like you'd see in those

Don't know if this applies to your game but would be interesting to see pieces of wood being carved and chopped out for building things from wood. Worst things I see in survival games are hunger bar

If it's free, itch might be a good idea too (or just to have different versions people can download, such as mobile etc or a demo)

Other proposed fixes:

Godot has it's own keyboard (removes random bugs from external keyboard and autocorrect issues; can add extra functionality)

Being able to resize debugger area down or hide (it's in the way during 2D/3D/code editing)

Major issue with Godot mobile:
Essentially you can't type in script editor on phone without cursor randomly fucking up and editing places you don't want it to. A proposed fix would be to do a long press (context menu) and be able to select from a list of existing functions/variables @godotengine.org

If they did a remake like FF when they remade their games, I could see paying $20 at least

People still pay for Diablo 1 & 2? Thought they were abandonware

Funny thing I learned about Godot today is how to anchor something to the screen. Just use a container with control node parent; any other parents and it won't work. Weird setup but hoping for an option to pick "relative to screen" and "relative to parent" just for clarity @godotengine.org

"Players are excellent at telling when thereโ€™s a problem. Theyโ€™re useless at knowing how to fix it. Never mistake one for the other."

I've espoused the same principle concerning reader feedback. Absolutely trust that a reader didn't like a story, but pay no attention to their suggested fixes.

Random game dev I never interacted with blocked me. No loss there

Is this available offline in the default version or does it have to be downloaded?

If it happens it happens. The most important thing is just being comfortable in your own skin regardless

Did you enjoy dorito flavored and shaped Cheetos? Well, sorry but we're pulling that because it's too enjoyable - corporations

No idea. If you want you can suggest it for me but I have no idea how to do that otherwise

14.02.2026 17:00 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

At most I can consider it suggestive but nothing beyond that

Godot? Well, after reading the docs and the online tutorials, you're basically fucked unless you rewrite some basics of the engine in a script and put it in the right place (we won't tell you where ๐Ÿ˜‰) and manually link everything to use it. Then use an anchor and watch modules disappear off screen

14.02.2026 12:15 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Imagine using Photoshop and you want to make a list, center screen, center text. Easy, just make a folder with each text label and each text has the same intuitive options of center justified, etc and you can choose where the text goes like any text editor does. Align works as it should

14.02.2026 12:11 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

It's stuff like this that makes me want to go back to making an engine in C sometimes, where I can just define center screen etc and not have to worry about if that's a parent to a node or anything and have positions be relative to each other without having to figure out how to do it in scripts

14.02.2026 12:05 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

There's also things that should be there that seem not to exist or work right sometimes, like trying to position something in the center or right side of screen, center a menu inside another menu or screen, having something be in a position relative to previous label to make a list w/o module/script

14.02.2026 12:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

For example, there's some modules like lists I want to try out but, no matter how I set those up, it feels like a dead end and everything just merges to a single line to make it convoluted. Just feels useless without the knowledge someone's gatekeeping on how to use it right
