To all the artists creating in these times: thank you. It’s not easy to make beauty, truth, or meaning when the world feels chaotic. Whether it helps you breathe or comforts others, your work matters.

Art doesn’t need to fix the world to be meaningful, sometimes it just needs to exist.

Of course you can feel stupid by saying it, but hey. This is the way to have really valuable friendships: to feel secure and confident enough to say these things to those friends, knowing you'll feel stupid but counting that won't matter in the end :)

I'm 100% with you. This is a very open, very honest way of saying things. When having friends with benefits, this is the best thing ever to hear IMHO. Not just because of the obvious, but to learn there's someone that feels secure with you and appreciates your company.

So here I am, teaching twenty people how to draw in their iPads and using this drawing of (the human) myself angrily waiting for a bus because another bus was delayed by a driver mistake.

Guess this can pass as a daily doodle, but I would never have believed I would draw in front of an audience!

Sometimes life mixes two entirely different universes.

A company needed someone to teach how to use Procreate in iPads, and I was the only person to have experience in Apple devices and (very modest) drawing skills. I drew this as a lesson!

Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and just observe for a while at all the small changes. It's not a sad thing, it's just the passing of time! And a reminder to enjoy it as much as you can 🐶

Age signals in my body are finally accelerating. White hairs are multiplying in my face each time I trim, my hands show more wrinkles, my eyes feel more tired and my back aches more after waking up.

I grabbed the tablet and hey, my brain remembers that thing called doodling, it seems

There is not much pen pressure, that's why I think it's best as a sketching device. I'll keep using my iPad o3o

A friend has one of these Remarkable e-ink tablets and gave it a go. The pencil response is very good! Maybe it could work as a drafting device.
