I should’ve been that and say that’s the reason I don’t really like to write at home. I can do other kind of work.

Writing is such a good way to make sure household chores get done— which is why I don’t like to work at home.

Of course it will. There is no other way to do this than considering race and using some form of quota to determine that there are too many Black people.

They have attacked that too, because they realize that a disproportionate number of Black people are low income, and they see considering income as just another way of getting Black people into college, which they do not want—especially not elite colleges.

Children are amazing. In the waiting area at an airport. There is a family of four. She is a Latina and the husband appears to be Anglo. The kids and they are going back-and-forth between English and Spanish so easily. Envy…

I spent the day in Conroe, TX with my mother‘s 95 year-old best friend. My brother and his daughter were there as well. It was a real gift to be able to spend time with a person who knew my parents and has known me since I was an infant.
