One of the amazing parts about doing history is going through loads of material to produce one good paragraph.

I’m just stunned that people in business don’t see the problem with the instability that’s created by all this. For most of my life the mantra was that business people wanted certainty and stability. Is the culture stuff really more important to them?

Of course it will. There is no other way to do this than considering race and using some form of quota to determine that there are too many Black people.

31.07.2025 12:53 β€” πŸ‘ 10    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

They have attacked that too, because they realize that a disproportionate number of Black people are low income, and they see considering income as just another way of getting Black people into college, which they do not wantβ€”especially not elite colleges.

I spent the day in Conroe, TX with my motherβ€˜s 95 year-old best friend. My brother and his daughter were there as well. It was a real gift to be able to spend time with a person who knew my parents and has known me since I was an infant.
