01.08.2025 15:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0good luck to you. Sounds like an amazing adventure.

25.07.2025 15:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Love the two in the back. you know they are both thinking:
"HURRY UP! ITS MY TURN!!!!!"
ahh yeees! The first snip of a new pair of scissors!
so different from trying to get the last snip out of an old pair...
two things in this world everyone needs:
A good dog
A happy donkey
The very best way to get young children into fishing. Almost always works, when the crab comes in they are first terrified and then fascinated, and the investment in tackle is a ball of string. Perfect.
03.07.2025 13:56 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0yep, that will definitely get a positive response from a smallie
02.07.2025 18:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is that a tiger trout?
02.07.2025 17:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Beautiful.
01.07.2025 13:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He had to take a break, get his mind right, and then do it a SECOND time.
Much easier once you tear most of the flesh around the barb......
Yep, the key is committing to the process. I explained it to someone before they were going to help me. They were tentative on the jerk. Needless to say, it was not the best experience...
30.06.2025 18:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0certainly lighter. My question would be how durable these will be?
26.06.2025 14:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0and both are great snook baits!!
26.06.2025 14:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Beautiful!!
20.06.2025 15:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Best hatch of the year. Just got back from Oregon and every fish in the river was looking up.
20.06.2025 13:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have been flyfishing/tying for a long time. This is the first time I have seen this and it is brilliant. Such a simple solution that never occurred to me. Thanks.
20.06.2025 13:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lovely brown. I have never fished the Driftless. What is the average stream size like? Do you need something smaller than a 4 weight?
20.06.2025 13:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Interesting. I did not plant them because of their toxicity to dogs and deer.
Of course slugs are immune to it. I try not to hate anything but really struggling with them.
Interesting. Do you have to build a multi segment tippet leader off of that? Looks very visible, so I am thinking you need 6-8 feet of tippet not to spook the fish.
19.06.2025 13:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Amen brother. That is my dream.
17.06.2025 17:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0everyone needs that quiet spot to decompress.
17.06.2025 17:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Great article about friendship with a little fishing thrown in. Thank you.
16.06.2025 14:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Brings to mind a song:
"Oh I'm jealous, jealous again...."
We tried that last night.
did not work.....
Great trip. Did you catch anything?
