Tiny hands

New here. Screaming into the void. Passionately non-complicit, and non-complacent. Trying to figure out how to thrive in this new American paradigm. I dissent!

Further proof that the US has become a kakistocracy.

Hard to find any outlet than more propagandistic about supporting ICE and smearing its victims than the NY Post , owned by an Australian who lives in the UK.

Strange how he got elected with Republican majorities in both chambers with there being so much fraud committed only by Democrats.

We have had 7 million in the streets already. Were you not paying attention? I live in DC, and there are protests weekly. Some of them have been pretty large. They always find a way to overshadow what is happening in the streets.

Occupation is always the hard part. We know that better than most about any nation. Canada has a small population compared to the others we have managed to screw with.

You forget how many people backed Poilèvre. Yes, he lost, but there are a significant number of Canadians who voted for Trumpism. Carney only won by about 2.4%. That’s not a very comfortable margin, and much less than Biden’s was in 2020. You are not out of woods.

It’s really hard to run over someone when there is no one in front of the vehicle to run over.

So Americans should overthrow their government rather than follow the lead that you, yourself is saying is the correct path? Many of us have been railing against him, as well, and yet, enough of “us” failed to listen that he was elected. A large majority of us want him out, but that will take time

No comparison. We were not invaded by a foreign military. We had a democratic process that allowed the current situation to come about. We will try to fix it according to the rules set forth by our own constitution. If we did not do that, how could the new government be seen as legitimate?

Canadians have just as much ability to do what you suggest as Americans do, and probably just as much to lose. You are sitting ducks if he decides you’re next.

It depends on the hill you want to die on. I do not intend to die for Venezuela or Greenland. I think what is being done as atrocious, but I also don’t see how putting my life on the line for them as my responsibility.

I will venture to guess that it’s Hgseth(sic). He had the knowledge, the history, and the motivation. The others in that ring don’t care about such small sums.

First of all, with all of the lies he tells regularly, why would we believe this??

All cars were boxy back then. None of these were close to being as jarringly ugly as the Cybertrick.

component composition, assembly, shipping, and placement. They also take up large areas of space per watt hour generated. Nuclear absolutely is expensive to build, but only requires years because of licensing. Korea has built them in less than three years. Less time than getting a solar farm

You may have missed my statement about renewables. I am pro renewable energy, and I don’t believe that anything in my statement negates that. I agree that governments should encourage anything that helps to move us away from fossil fuel. Solar cannot be built in days. They require mining refining,

When Germany’s renewables could not produce enough power and Germany refused to restart its nuclear plants. The cost of electricity in France is also significantly lower despite all of those expensive nuclear plants. Go figure.

I am anything but against renewable energy, but it has it’s own costs. The expense and environmental impact of manufacturing and recycling batteries is not nil. Germany has among the highest electricity costs in Europe. France, which uses approx. 70% nuclear has had to sell electricity to Germany

Another thing to consider is how much power solar can produce. How many solar arrays and hectares of solar panels are needed to generate the same amount of energy as one nuclear plant? Also, you have to remember that there is battery storage needed to keep solar reliable.

The FIFA World Peace winner who made everything more expensive is on his affordability tour, which seems silly since it’s a Democratic hoax.

Dear #Europe. Please. Don’t for a second think that the words of madmen who happen to be American, are speaking for Americans. They are not.

Uncontroversial opinion: Trump has no idea that his “peace prize” is a hoax to show the world how susceptible he is to being manipulated.
