Is it reasonable to assume that plans for the current outage were made sometime after April 2025, when Millstone 3 was offline for ~ 30 days? If the maintenance issue were known in April, presumably it would have been addressed during refueling, no, to avoid a second subsequent outage?

Now that I look at it again, the current Millstone 3 outage looks more like a “planned unplanned” outage.

What does that mean?

Nuclear units plan outages to refuel. Millstone 3 refueled last April, and shouldn’t have another planned refueling outage until ~ Oct. 2026. So the current outage…
