We're likely in a better situation than L.A., but we are still near a high fire area, if not directly in one, and as of next Friday, are going to be moving even closer to said area. We're covered, but we'll see what happens to the rates the next time our policies are up.

Breaking news (literally) from Santa Cruz, where a chunk of the Santa Cruz pier collapsed and floated out to sea during heavy surf. It's reported three people who were on that section at the time have been rescued.
