BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

I miss colors and fun shapes. Life is boring and blocky now. Everyone is glued to their screens and care about the latest things. Nothing is done intentionally. There's no peace. There's no empathy. Just wasting our days on things. Not moments. Not each other. Just chasing the paper on things.

You'd think I'd feel freedom and relief. Instead I feel anxiety. I have a lot of work to do in therapy.

You whispered in my ear to come here. To the side that was more clear. You said there would be no more fear. You would hold me dear unlike the side I was on that was filled with sneers.

I'm getting real tired of people who don't give a fuck about me fucking with my livelihood.

I think we need to stop calling it empathy and go back to calling it decency. It isn't a favour you're doing someone else, it's you proving that you aren't a fucking ghoul

No more shrinking. No more masking. No more caring about others emotions before your own. Listen to you. Think of you. You matter. For once in your fucking life listen to you. Speak for you. Advocate for you, your wants, your needs. You matter too. YOU.

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.
