The drawing is very fine and intricate. The detail shown is roughly comparable in size to two postage stamps, and is photographed with a penny and the traditional Chinese brush the piece was drawn with.

I would have liked to have filmed the inking of this tiny wren and the shrub's very fine branches with this brush, but I needed to get especially close to the piece for this and it would have been too awkward.

It’s a series of 3 novellas - a completed work within the larger universe, and an absolutely delightful read.

I highly recommend it and will probably reread it again before the show comes out.

C'est vraiment une histoire à part, très peu liée aux événements de ASOIAF, mais parfaite à mon sens. Pas de dragons, pas de magie, juste un chevalier errant et son petit écuyer dans un pays hanté par la guerre civile 👌

The trick here is to shift the anisotropy angle to break up outlines. Works so well on small shapes or tiled elements like these leaves.
