If I have a dying message to Americans it’s that you can speak into a cell phone at a normal volume, as if the person you’re speaking with has their head on your shoulder, and they will hear every word just great. No nred to yell like you’re in a WWII movie.

I've had eyes on both Red-winged Blackbirds and Turkey Vultures. It is happening.

To anyone who might be reading this, do these "thank you" posts clutter your feed and annoy you, or do you like seeing them? I feel like they add to engagement a bit, but I don't see many folks doing them and don't want to annoy anyone.

I will, thank you! I primarily shoot outdoors now but am hoping to learn some studio technique this year. I know next to nothing about lights and gear so just seeing what you're using and looking it up has helped me to learn what is out there and how it's used.

This app notifies you when smart glasses are nearby. It uses company identificators in the Bluetooth data sent out by these. Therefore, there likely are false positives (e.g. from VR headsets). Hence, please proceed with caution when approaching a person nearby wearing glasses. They might just be regular glasses, despite this app's warning.

Quite excited about the multiple Red-winged Blackbirds I heard today! They are harbingers of spring in this region.

Unfortunately my TV is old enough that it doesn't support the newest of the new color tech but it's good with HDR10.
