If I had the choice again I would have had my replacements 10 years ago. My surgeon said I will get 20+ years out of my new replacements.

I am 3 months bilateral knee replacement that although much older than you I waited 10 years to have them done. The main problem although I am very happy with the result is training my leg muscles back to how they should be when walking to how they were before the operation.

This is me 14days ago with my 2 brand new knees, before this I dealt with sore knees for 15 years but decided enough is enough. Many things can go wrong with knees and you might only need a clean out at worst but definitely see your doctor. 😀

Today the Coalition made clear if elected they would sack public sector workers, cut their pay & return to funnelling our money to the big consultants. We lose jobs, pay, expertise, services & money spent in local communities. Good for consultants profits, bad for the country

I like it here compared to twitter x where I as a nobody had minimal followers and limited interactions. It seems a lot more welcoming here and a lot of positive vibes. 😀

Long walks on gravel along dangerous roads: The fast-growing Melbourne suburbs waiting for buses and trains In the outer west, where the car is king, residents want better public transport links. In a series, The Age explores why the west is Australia’s fastest-growing region and what’s holding it back from its full potential.

How to create car dependency, household budget pressures from transport costs, traffic congestion, isolation, lack of access to services and opportunity: build new suburbs with no walking or cycling infrastructure, and no usable public transport.☹️ www.theage.com.au/na... ($)

Effective the Pharmacy Guild lobbied AGAINST its members…

So Pharmacists should be seriously reflecting on whether the Guild’s leadership are actually representing their interests.

'Hugely expensive' nuclear a 'Trojan horse' for coal, NSW Liberal says as energy policy rift exposed NSW shadow minister Matt Kean says nuclear energy is "hugely expensive" and not the path to cheaper electricity as his federal Liberal colleagues campaign for it.

"As we looked more into it, we found #nuclear was a Trojan horse for the coal industry, wanting to keep coal going, and it denied transition to an industry that allowed lower bills," said Hon Matt Kean #auspol #insiders www.abc.net.au/news/2024-05...

“Believe it or not, electric bikes offer more exercise than pedal bikes on average. That fact might sound strange, but the science is clear.”

Why e-bikes actually give more exercise than “acoustic”bikes. (but both/either are excellent when it comes to better cities)
