50 years ago tonight, Colorado’s Stonewall occurred on October 23, 1973.

Tonight, through a viewing of documentary we remember and celebrate this historic night of our LGBTQ historic past.

While going through some 1970s newsletters and newspapers of Denver came across this fun cartoon of an elephant.

Like so many things in the archives, I’m sure the artist never would have thought 50 years later his or her or their drawing would end up in an archive forever.
