I feel like I’ve been to random magic the gathering events with more trans people than this thing could muster detransitioners

And somehow I feel like there will be more news coverage about this and coverage of their voices than any trans gathering because that’s how the media covers us

This is their logic: So as a trans woman if I go out with another woman it’s a straight relationship and if I go out with a guy it’s us pretending to be a het couple

Also if they are also trans it’s because no cis person would ever date me and if they are cis then why wouldn’t I date a trans person

All while not talking to you because they won’t believe the words you say about yourself because how can you be happier now with this hell for a world they’ve crafted for you?

Or even just people speak! Turns out you can just talk to trans people about this stuff if your institutions aren’t captured by transphobes

They are not. Trans women are just women society finds it acceptable for them to abuse and threaten. They want to abuse and threaten all women

Unhappy feels the exact same as “with sorrow and regret we have to exclude trans people”. It’s meaningless, they’ll move on from this ultimately with a shrug but get to ease their guilt at being part of it

*Some* will, others will delay where their hormones will be less effective and miss years of a better life, others still will not see a way out of an oppressive state that seems to constantly hate on them in worse ways daily and take their own lives

If a pro trans group did anything close to this it would be front page for weeks and calls for maximum jail time for everyone involved while also being used as evidence that all trans people should be locked up

They're putting anti trans slogans on the trans flag so that they can say their anti trans messaging while making it like trans rights supporters are doing the violence here. It's intentional.

Women are amazing, pass it on 🌷

But then Westminster blocked it and the debates just worsened and trans people further silenced. It sickens me how far things have slid in a few years and how much indifference there is about that fact

I was in the UK when the debates around self id were happening in Scotland. I watched it live and it was horrific hearing the discussions but when the bill passed I felt such joy because I knew after it had been rolled out everyone would see what a non issue self id is
