Point rigolo, je voulais chanter Iris Out en finale, mais j'ai décidé de chanter Loser (aussi Yonezu) pour changer.
Le timing du concours a fait qu'on a pu faire la petite finale.
Si j'étais parti avec mon idée originale on aurait eu une petite finale Iris Out vs Iris Out lel.
Le facteur bonus rareté m'a fait gagner cette manche au final, damn!
Holy shit, j'ai fait 3e place au concours karaoke à Made in Asia.
The situation for goodies creators is terrible, but stop glorifying corporations as individuals.
It always kinda rubbed me the wrong way how everyone just ignored stuff like the fan remake of Streets of Rage in the past (and I loved Streets of Rage 4) for the sake of the 'this company = all good, other company = Satan' narrative.
They're all protecting their IPs in the end.
I like Sega and Nintendo's games, but seeing everyone flip their shit over the latest crackdown on Yakuza goodies...
"Sega would never do what Nintendo does and stab their fanbase", my ass. They're both companies in the end.
Also kudos on Markiplier's performance, and the sound design, and the music
Also despite that and the fact that the only airing was at 10pm, the room was pretty packed. I was expecting to be able to change my seat to not be next to a couple, in the end, the whole row was booked and it was an hassle trying to find a seat that wasn't booked so I stayed there.
I mean, I can mostly understand better spoken english now, but add an accent too thick, add a noise, add multiple characters speaking, add a word that sounds off and I'll be like "Uh".
Having the dialogs written pretty much helps.
Oh wow, well done. A small budget, but pretty damn well used. Impressed!
Also I was surprised, but the movie was in english with english subs. Guess they couldn't get into translating the movie in french and dutch, but still a good way to make sure the movie gets something.
Alright, gonna book one for Iron Lung, I'm curious, I wanna watch it on the big screen before it's gone.
Actually, I'm even surprised the movie is being shown in here, it's a limited time thingy.
And I'm not even part of the "remove adaptation" crowd. That's a pants-on-head stupid stance.
You can apply some changes that work.
But twisting a character to make them say things they never would, just to lean into cheesy (and even more stereotypical) shit? That doesn't fly.
The gold-medal mental gymnastics used to defend DBZ's English dub script changes are truly something to behold.
Fans from all over the world are watching you wallow in the mud. Just admit it's nostalgia and that you wouldn't tolerate it as well in an ongoing show.
These kind of manga don't do really well with french audiences, sob sob.
I guess I shouldn't count on anyone trying to publish the latest Kumeta manga, Shibuya Near Family, around here. Sob sob sob.
Gintama got the same treatment at some point, glad they kept up and didn't just cancel the edition.
Hell, I was surprised Kakushigoto got its 12 volumes fully released so fast in comparison. I'm not used to these releasing that fast (even though there was a gap at some point).
We're getting 1 or 2 volumes a year, the last released one was in july, v.26. Four years to go till we see the end!
Gintama got the same treatment at some point, glad they kept up and didn't just cancel the edition.
I'm so so so glad I could nab the spanish edition of Katteni Kaizou years ago, dunno how available it is nowadays.
Also getting the french release for Zetsubou-sensei, even if it's super slow. Still waiting for the next volume (27).
Two Mangaka and a 20+ Years Long "Rivalry" youtu.be/pQtliMqOV-M?...
That was way too interesting to watch lol. I knew Kumeta threw funny jabs all the time (Negima and Hayate got their fair amount in SZS), but I didn't know Akamatsu and Hata got in the fun as well.
Time to come back to reality and turn all these alarm clocks on again....
Uuuh it's depressing, the holidays went away way too fast.
I mean? What are the odds in 2025 Belgium to get someone adding Macross 7 in a month out of the blue? And of it happening twice.
When he added Kamen Rider Faiz to the playlist, I let out a loud WHAT.
He's currently watching Kamen Rider Hibiki apparently.
Also there was a guy who tried singing everything in a pretty low voice (but getting gradually m more confortable with actually singing over the night tho)
He threw some unexpected curveballs in the playlist!
Despite some hard hitters, I didn't end up shitfaced yesterday, weird. But good times!
Started the year on singing the Clannad After Story OP (I wanted to change for something more uplifting, they said "Are you seriously skipping Clannad")
Also NND Kumikyoku somehow lol
Happy new year!
I didn't get enough sleep from yesterday tho
It's been a while I haven't been in a new year's party. A nerdy one, but it still counts.
Usually I don't care much for new years (at least without the 20 minutes where I realize I isolate myself from everyone else), but it's nice to be doing something in a group for a change.
