I get it. I don't mind rules light so long as it makes it clear that there is a sweeping rule or stat for use on every possible action. It's the gaps that annoy me too, when a game tries to be rules comprehensive (even if simple) but misses widely.

I think my theme for armies that I want to collect in Flames of War basically boils down to "who is doing the weird shit?". It started with 21st Panzer and now I'm looking at either Daimler motor car companies for Brits or Italian light tank swarms with a bunch of trucks.
