Virginia Guiffre apparently handed out towels at the pool there when she was 16 and approached by ghislane maxwell, but yeah, weird

"he hired the help" is such a bizarre way to say that someone trafficked children from your place of business

Cartoon-style meme showing Donkey Kong and Bowser doing a strong handshake, smiling at each other. "Donkey Kong" is labeled on Donkey Kong, "THE CIA" on Bowser, and their joined hands are labeled "starting wars over bananas." The image humorously draws a parallel between Donkey Kong’s in-game banana-driven conflicts and real-world U.S. foreign policy.

Screenshot of a Wall Street Journal article with the headline: "Justice Department Told Trump in May That His Name Is Among Many in the Epstein Files." The subheadline states: "Bondi also told president at the meeting that Justice decided to not release more Jeffrey Epstein documents because of the presence of child pornography and the need to protect victims." Below the text is a photo showing Donald Trump in profile, wearing a navy suit and blue tie, surrounded by several people, including a blonde woman in a bright blue jacket with her arm around him.

Wow. I didnt expect that news to come that quick, and the Wall Street Journal again?

A screenshot of a social media post and comment thread. The original post, attributed to "parchmentjunkie," reads: "I would love to read a book series from the villain's point of view. Except, at first, you don't realize they are the villain. I think it would be a really interesting read, you know?" A top comment below responds: "American history textbooks." The comment has a "Top fan" badge, and reactions include likes, laughs, and hearts.

Screenshot of a 4chan post from July 9, 2025, with the title “Trap is SET!” and a username labeled “Anonymous.” The post includes a meme image and a lengthy block of conspiracy-themed text. The meme shows a muscular, shirtless man resembling Donald Trump standing in front of American flags and soldiers, with text that says, “EPSTEIN LIST WILL BE RELEASED. TRUST THE PLAN!” The accompanying text claims that Trump embedded himself in Jeffrey Epstein’s circle for over 30 years as part of a secret plan, sacrificing himself to expose elites. It alleges that Trump “KNOWS EVERYTHING,” and that Hollywood, Washington D.C., and royal families are panicking. The post ends with the claim that one day people will realize his sacrifice, and “they’re won’t be a statue big enough.”

Image shows a group of men wearing black leather motorcycle vests with matching patches. The large patch on the back of each vest reads "BORN TO RIDE" at the top and "DONALD J TRUMP" at the bottom, surrounding a circular emblem with "45" in stars and stripes style, referencing Donald Trump as the 45th U.S. president. The men are wearing black hats and jeans, and are seen from behind, standing near a counter. The background features a tall green hedge. Social media interaction icons are visible on the right side of the image.

This image appears to be digitally altered. It shows former U.S. President Donald Trump speaking at a podium with the presidential seal. Behind him is the bridge of a military aircraft carrier with a large banner that reads "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED," referencing the infamous 2003 banner used during George W. Bush’s Iraq War speech.

A meme with two parts. The top half is text that reads: "ICE agents are complaining that every time they go out wearing masks in unmarked cars with no uniforms or identification as law enforcement to abduct people, protesters keep dumping pounds of glitter on them so that everyone can tell they're ICE for days afterwards." The bottom half is a scene from the movie The Cabin in the Woods, showing a man in a shirt and tie standing in front of a large whiteboard with monster names on it, raising his arm. Overlaid text says, "Who had 'Glitter bombing the Gestapo' on their bingo card?"

Even though it is ALMOST the correct conclusion, I find myself frustrated by the argument that "War costs us too much money, and a new one probably wouldn't be good for us," because it is still extremely self-centered and entirely ignores the massive human rights violations that our foreign policy is responsible for.
I am not just talking about direct wars where there are boots on the ground, I am also talking about the covert operations where we prop up dictators so they are more friendly with our corporations at the expense of their own populations.
There are hundreds of these cases, in addition to the half dozen wars that we have half-declared. We have been terrorizing the whole entire world since long before Iraq just to benefit a few rich people who live here. It has nothing to do with keeping us safe. All this "peace through strength" bullshit is just an Orwellian marketing scheme to justify more war. Dominating others is not peace. We live in the evil empire.

Scene from Star Trek: The Next Generation showing two characters—one in a pink and black uniform labeled “PRIDE MONTH” and the other in a gold and black uniform labeled “JUNETEENTH”—touching palms in a gesture of solidarity. Overlaid text in the center reads, “Upsetting the dumbest pieces of shit in the world every year.”

The trump people who claim to be anti-war, have come to that position for all the wrong reasons. They are anti-war simply because they think too much money is spent overseas, not because they have any opposition to US hegemony or neo-colonialism, which is kinda a requirement for being truly anti-war
