At one point it was cheap to fly from Southampton to Spain (time for a cheeky lunch), then Spain to Newcastle. Rather than fly direct or take the train.

My Dad had 1977 105 in white, very similar to your picture. Early ones had the vented rear panel, while later early 80s ones the vent moved to the boot lid/engine cover with the rear spoiler.

Factoid: 1973 & the R12 TS had Q-car vibes with its Fergat wheels & ‘safety’ sports seats.

It’s interesting to see mention of the R15 in the ad as it was actually the R12 that donated the basic engine to this car.
