Yup they are awful.
They used to serve a loy.of people in our road. The cabinet used to fill with water and every time it rained we had an outage for days or weeks on end and they could not give a flying. We have all now gone to either community fibre or Openreach based services.

That is the worst.

Yesterday's fun was the Indoor Folk Festival at Cecil Sharp House. Was an amazing day. Superb musicianship throughout. @lisaknappmusic.bsky.social and Gerry Diver pushed the boundaries of what is musically possible and Magpie Arc with amazing heavy folk rock closed the show.

I was today years old when I discovered a pick up truck based on the Vauxhall Chevette called (and I kid you not) the Grumett was producex for many years in Uruguay...

I have one of those.
I have not put power up it for years as I only use resonant antennas.
I should pass it on.
It was pretty bomb proof. Would comfortably take 400W+. Nicely engineered.

After market superchargers! I am.sure they wrecked many engines! i have seen adverts for them in old mags. Sound completely terrifying.

I bought Penelope the Herald (on my pinned post) from Clive when I was at the Beeb in the 80s. (I did not last there long). Vince worked in the control room for years. Round chap said it how it was!
