TY I was there and did get pepper sprayed & tear gassed, along with colleagues l, reporters like MPR & many community too. ICE & police will lie and spin it, but ppl showed up peacefully and calmly as legal observers and ICE/sppd escalated and inflicted extreme violence on residents & community.

On the eve of a decision by the PUC, Minnesotans are making a plea to reject the BlackRock takeover. The track record is clear: this proposed high-risk private-equity buyout is inconsistent with the public interest, proven to dishonor Tribal sovereignty & not needed to meet MN’s clean energy goals.
The comment period for the wild rice policy discussion at the state of Minnesota is open now. Remind policy makers and your neighbors that Minnesota is the only place in the world it grows, and it’s worth fighting for.
The science is clear, and so are the Tribes and people of MN: Higher sulfate levels harm wild rice. A Treaty protected food.
