That One Purple Cow

Zarc & Glacier have been turned into a purple Heffalump & blue Woozle respectively. Glacier, the Woozle, is atop of Zarc's squishy belly, pointing at herself with a look of annoyance. Zarc, the Heffalump, is rocking back and forth on her rump with a big goofy smile, pleased at the shenanigans. The dialogue says the following: Glacier: "'Eyyy, what's the big idea dragging ME into this mess, ya' patchwork pachyderm?" Zarc: "Buh-huh-huhhh! Sorry, Glacier...~"

Not exactly made for World #Elephant Day, but a conversation earlier had me inspired.

It's been a bit, but I finally started writing today! It's not a lot right now, but I got 3 paragraphs in and have the premise kinda set up I think :D

Team Rocket's research department has concluded that overfeeding stolen pokemon is an effective way to keep them docile. This does lead to extreme weight gain and lack of efficiency, but the department was not tasked with addressing the side effects.

And that’s about the sum of this big lug! I’ll update this thread as more ridiculous adventures happen, and I’d love to have the others share their stories here too. For now, here’s a rough doodled glimpse into some of the party’s dynamic:

Zhuna no like dwarves. Madah no like conflict. *CHOP* Zzz…

Here’s some of his abilities he’s gained over the course of this adventure:

-Can be Dumbo and fly when in his ascended form.
-Can breathe elemental fire with his trunk
-Dual-wielding master of chained sickles, twins he’s dubbed Quatze’s Wing & Fang
-His tattoo is alive and VERY judgemental

However, he’s also done some cool feats!

-Tricked cultists into believing he was their god’s champion through sheer intimidation
-Wrestled draconic construction to save two people during mid-attack
-Punched an eldritch fusion in the face and lived to tell the tale

Actually, no! But I’m looking them up and it is WILD how close his aesthetic looks, oh my goodness.

Okay, so, Madah’s namesake was inspired by a contestant who was part of a cooking competition @ditzysnep.bsky.social and I watched on the weekends. I was greatly inspired by his energy he brought xD

He’s also not allowed to be left with Xochi, a possum warlock the party befriended during a trip to the coast. The food-obsessed marsupial is a concentrated ball of fiery chaos. Fun fact: That explosion picture was drawn BEFORE an event that happened in the campaign came to be.

Madah cannot be left on his own:

-Set off a trap in a labyrinth that almost drowned the party
-Got knocked out after wrestling with a dire bear
-Botched his tale of the dire bear fight to folks train, presumed drunk
-Had his tusk sawed off for potion
-Actually got drunk cause pretty vampire lady

Their time as local security would be short-lived, as they had uncovered corruption and the imprisonment of a green gem dragon, who turned out to be one of the aspects of the dragon god Prisma. They are now tasked as gem dragon seekers who must travel throughout the land, searching far and wide.

Of his party would be other beast-folk, surprisingly. Of them was Corryk Featherstrum, kenku bard who Madah has built a manager/entertainer relationship with. Then there was the duo Zhuna & Visk, gnoll drakewarden & kobold gunslinger..or at least an attempt was made!

Humbled, and wanting to reclaim the Winged Serpent’s favor, Madah spent years training and traveling while adjusting to his new mantra of not striking without thought or reason. It would be during his travels that he would be part of security for a local festival, where he would meet his party.

In his youth, he decided to use what he learned and willingly made himself a career gladiator. It is here that he gained traction as a boisterous showman and for being a hot-headed heel in his battles. One of his opponents would take advantage of this and taint his reputation in a humiliating way.

Before joining his adventuring party, Madah trained at a monastery isolated within the jungle mountains of Tozmoco, a region found in the Savage Wildlands. He and fellow acolytes worshipped the Winged Serpent, shown by the fast strikes in their martial arts with a mix of their size and strength.

It’s World #Elephant Day, and once again I am letting my #loxodon dragon #monk Madah have his time to shine and flex in all his elephantine glory!
