Just wanted to say that I also decided to put up my experience with the commission I'm waiting to get from her, and thank you for explaining to me the bs with the patreon DMs!

And obviously I can’t get a refund through Paypal since it’s been so long.
I just wanted to show my experience and warn others who may also be waiting for a commission from Arty or wanted to do so in the future. Maybe she'll see this and finally reply to me, who knows.

the many problems they had with a commission with Arty, and this client explained to me that apparently you need to have an ACTIVE SUBSCRIPTION ON PATREON to be able to DM that patreon creator. I wasn’t aware of this. +

In the midst of these 2 years I stopped paying the subscription to her Patreon since I was on medical leave due to serious illness and had to make do with what I had since I wasn’t working. Then 2 months ago I came across a thread from another client of her here on Bluesky talking about +

Since then I’ve tried contacting her regarding this through DMs on Patreon, Twitter, Bluesky, directly through e-mail (even though I’m not sure if her address was still active) and even through Instagram. No response from Arty. +

That was the last time I ever heard anything from her regarding my commission, even though on Arty’s trello my commission is tagged as lineart started. +

I replied with the changes I wanted done, but since at the time people were starting to move to Bluesky I thought she could have missed my reply, so I sent it again to her through DMs on Patreon. She replied to me 8 months ago saying she would send me an update when the sketch was cleaned up +

Apparently she had sent it to the wrong person, someone who had the same nickname as me – I find it weird why some of the commissioners have their social media handle on the Trello but she didn’t add mine. +

I paid for a flat colour sketch piece of 2 characters back in July 2023, my slot being August 2023. On November 2024 I contacted her on Twitter because I noticed on her Trello it said she had sent me a draft and was waiting for my approval, but I hadn’t received anything. +

I started feeling something was off when saw other clients of Arty coming forward on social media pointing out she was delivering some commissions when these clients were still+

When she came forward talking about how her ADHD and mental health impacted her workflow and how it was the reason for the long waiting time between paying and receiving the art, I sympathized with her since my partner also has ADHD and I’ve seen firsthand for years how it impacts your daily life.+
