During the summer months I usually run a short ‘filler’ campaign because you can’t guarantee players to be around (holidays etc.). Tonight I started running #intotheborderlands which was great fun. One of my players invented a creature called a ‘duckatrice’ as an illusion to scare a cockatrice! #5e

I can’t decide whether to run #AgeofWorms in #5e2024 or #Empireoftheghouls in #Talesofthevaliant for my next campaign. Has anybody got any experience of either campaign in any system?

In tonight’s #d&d game, the party (now level 14!) fought an actual dragon. We are approaching three years into this campaign and it is still really enjoyable.

I backed the #5e version and the pdf looks great. Can’t wait for the hardback to arrive.

As a teacher, I have similar arguments followed by an accusation that we are always on holiday. My response is always -‘There’s a shortage of teachers so why don’t you train to become one?’ Their response is always ‘I wouldn’t do your job for any money.’ 🤷

This meme always reminds me of my relationship with ttrpgs- I’m always looking at the latest releases. The irony is I play #5e pretty exclusively because I don’t have time (or a group willing to change) to learn new systems.
