Yesterday was my sobriety anniversary, won’t say for how long because when I was first in the program people who had two whole weeks gave me hope, but I figured people with a year or more couldn’t be as alcoholic as I was. If you’re new, though, trust me: have hope.

The cat sanctuaries of Rome are amazing. The Cimetero Acattolico where Keats and Shelley are buried is also a cat sanctuary. Ä really lovely and relaxing place to sketch.

This is misleading. Canada "accepts" refugee claims from most applicants. The success rate of claims from Americans has historically been vanishingly small. Last I checked, despite a rise in US applications, we had yet to see any post-Trump 2.0 LGBTQ claims adjudicated.

Sad to see the Ides of March becoming commercialised like this. I really feel like we're losing track of the true spirit of the holiday. It's not about how many knives you can stick in a tyrant all at once, it's about the whole community coming together to stab the tyrant as many times as possible.
