The Blue Tit is a small, energetic, and colourful garden bird, often described as a tiny ball of yellow, blue, and white feathers. It is roughly 12cm long—slightly smaller than a sparrow—and has a very distinctive "masked" face. Visual Description for Partial Sight Head: The most defining feature is a bright blue "cap" or crown on top of its head, which looks like a little blue hat. Face: Below the blue cap, it has a stark white face. This white area is framed by a thin, dark black line that runs through the eye and around the back of the head. Underparts (Belly): The breast is a bright, sulphur-yellow, making them stand out against green foliage. Wings and Back: The wings and tail are a contrasting shade of bright blue, while the back is generally a mix of yellow green. Body Shape: They are very small, plump, and agile, often seen hanging upside down on feeders. Key Identifiers Contrast: The high contrast between the bright white cheeks and dark blue crown makes them easy to spot even with limited vision. Movement: They are very fast-moving "buzzy" birds that rarely stay still. Size: They are often seen in small groups (flocks) at nut feeders in winter. Juveniles: Younger birds appear more washed-out and duller, with yellow cheeks instead of white, often appearing around April or May. Common Sounds They are noisy birds. Their call is a high-pitched, buzzy "see-see-sedoo" or a fast, rattling call. Where to Spot Them They are incredibly common in gardens, urban parks, and woodlands, often visiting bird feeders, especially those with peanuts or sunflower seeds.

On my walk I spotted a metal heart in a yard.

Several great blue herons lined up along the edge of a large industrial dock. The heron closest to the viewer is in crisp focus, and the herons behind it get progressively blurrier. Most of them are facing in the same direction as the bird in front, looking out across the dock, which has a few large pipes running along its length. Taken at Ballard Locks.

A photo from today's walk. I sometimes get my ducks in a row, but this is the first time I've managed to get my herons in a row.

Sometimes I finish the book, sometimes I skip ahead to almost the end. I borrow a lot of ebooks through the libraries and the ebooks are easy to return.
I don’t appreciate many books with ghosts and vampires in them. Sometimes I try a book- and it is ok to read or return.

Skipping home, Boroughloch

The kerplunk game is erected on top of a stack of boxes of blue Kerplunk game boxes. The constructed game is 1.4 meters high / 4.6 feet tall. There is a blue base and then 3 feet of plastic tube over the base. In the middle of the clear tube is the section to insert or retract the sticks. The colorful sticks and balls are in the bottom of the clear tube.

All the scenes look similar. The poster got the video from someone else.

A male and female goose couple raise their bodies out of the water and flap there wings to shake off the water after taking their morning baths just as the sun was rising.

I know some look down or dismiss photos of common birds, but I always enjoy photos of geese in the early morning just as the sun is coming up and they are starting their day. This couple swam towards me this morning and I was able to get quite a few different photos.
