Expression study days 9 to 12

Had this mini comic idea of @silentzound.bsky.social 's character Leo finding out Cadeire secretly has a gifted singing voice and persuading them to sing a duet with him.
Cadeire belongs to me #amesocs

The 3 simple shapes and the 12 principles help me take what I've learned from animating a ball bounce, pendulum and tail wag and apply that knowledge to more advanced assignments! I'd absolutely love to host a workshop on it some day.

Absolutely 💖 something I like to do whenever I animate a character is to dissect their design using 3 simple shapes: circles, triangles and quadrilaterals[rectangles]. The principles are like second nature to me at this point, and yes I use pose-to-pose mainly, straight-ahead in particular cases.
