One of my issues with the "okay, it's fascism after all" folks is less about the way they kept blaming other people for being hysterical out of the gate, and more about the fact that if they've taken this long to catch up, their high-profile gig needs to go to someone who's now *ahead* of the curve.
I wonder if they have any regrets about having wasted so much ink and breath fighting the good guys while this was all very clearly happening under their noses?

Finally reading Jane Mayers’ Dark Money and there’s a lesson here for leftists (among whom I count myself). The Kochs turned the Republican Party into their party by investing in it rather than sitting back and calling it not good enough.
