Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law.

A new generation that renews the “we” in “we the people.”

Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as part of its future.

A lot of the people you see arguing against food assistance are actually on food assistance. They work at Walmart or a convenience store and think they are deserving, but others are not.

This is projection and the way that the 1% keep poor people pitted against poor people so they don’t look up.

Nearly 8 in 10 Americans agree that spending by wealthy donors and corporations in our elections gives rise to corruption — including majorities of Republican and independent voters.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

We must overturn Citizens United.

Our problem isn't a lack of resources.

Our problem is ever-expanding inequality.

Since 1980, there have been over 400 weather disasters in the US, with total damages over $1 billion.

These disasters have cost $2.9 trillion in total and killed nearly 17,000 people.

Don't tell me we "can't afford" to address the climate crisis.

The truth is we can’t afford not to.

Our national parks are in trouble.

Since Trump returned to office, the National Park Service has lost nearly a quarter of its full-time staff. That’s thousands of people who used to care for trails, run visitor centers, respond to emergencies, and protect the land, gone.

We will use their horrific agenda to turn voters against them by the millions in the midterms. And yes, there will be midterms. Don’t even think about voicing defeatism and doing their work for them.

I think that the outcome in the NY Mayoral race and the Wisconsin Supreme Court race both show that people power CAN beat the political money machine. That should give us all hope, and the motivation to work for the government we want.
