an overview map of differing genie houses, starting from the West (clockwise) is the palace of Air, followed by the Palace of Fire, then Palace of Earth, and Palace of Water to the East. They all inhabit their own small sections with walkways stemming from an entryway area to the South. A small bit of a city can be seen at the very bottom. Most of the terrain is sandy.

I had a small role in the new Forgotten Realms books that just dropped, here is my favourite of the bunch, the overview of the different genie houses known as the Palace Primordial. Was fun to try and work them all together but keep them unique :)

this is probably an unpopular opinion but I am largely squicked by the yassification of raves. i don't think raves should be convenient and normal i think they should involve active effort to participate in and be very very weird and be pretty much the opposite of appealing to wealthy tech execs

I do like the idea of hooking steam up to my television, without the excess baggage of secondary computers. Hopefully they have a version without the VR that is cheaper than the steam deck.

That controller design though is hideous. Really hope they allow third-party controllers.

On a similar note, please do keep in mind that a lot of cons operate as 501c3s. That means, they can NOT talk about, make moves in or be associated with political bodies. If you want a statement from a con about x, Y or Z there’s a chance they can’t say shit.

“Cons routinely claim harassment when they’re receiving accountability” OR people who volunteer their time to help the community are being harassed to the point of a mental break because the general mass act like piranhas when actual bureaucratic steps for change don’t happen overnight.
