I was a fan and I stopped watching it in 2016 because I felt like they were part of the reason why Trump was elected the first time. Then I started watching them again in 2020 and I felt like they had turned the corner. Now I look around that corner, and they’re on their knees. It’s disgusting.

Nothing is funnier than Christians celebrating the election of Trump by singing “Like a Prayer” in churches. Literally singing a song about a woman giving a man head in churches. They are beyond stupid.

It’s gone.

There’s no way that this thing remains top secret. It will be leaked and on social media so fast and we will all tear right through it. I, for one, cannot wait.

I used to work for a sporting goods company and they would have a sample sale every year. Things were anywhere from $1 to $10. I would buy all the coats, sweatshirts, etc., and give those to the local homeless shelter. I’d use my own money. People thought I was crazy.

Threads is getting meaner every day. The sexist misogynist boys are coming there in droves. I answered one question about pay inequality and got 250 responses from men telling me it isn’t real. Or that men work harder than women, longer hours or they negotiate better. Excuses make me laugh.

1000%. I haven’t watched a second of news. I do feel like I’ve watched ALL the television. I’m on reruns of favorite shows.

On Twitter, I had 4k followers. On Threads, 300. On BlueSky, I have 20. And I’m okay with that. What I have now, too, is peace. I haven’t been doxxed today. I haven’t been called horrible names or libtard. I haven’t seen wild misinformation or crazy conspiracy theories today. It’s good.

I haven’t watched a second of news PERIOD. Nothing.

What’s really interesting is that most anthropologists say that low birth rates are actually good for the world. It is slowing down the world’s trend towards gross over population and could also slow climate change.

My fiancé died during the pandemic. It was in the beginning and there was nothing that could be done for him. He was only 45 and in tremendously good health. No one should stand close to me and say that Covid is not real or that the pandemic was fake. I will choose violence.

I agree with that. I can’t say I can ever fully predict what the GOP will do. I’m just hopeful that the old school conservatives recognize the danger and grow a backbone.

Mitch McConnell was the king of not recessing the Senate to avoid Obama‘s recess appointments. And since John Thune is an acolyte of McConnell, I’m thinking he won’t recess the Senate either. Thune is no fan of Trump, let us not forget.

Driving in New Jersey yesterday, I passed a cybertruck, and I immediately started laughing. The guy in the “truck“ saw me and looked so confused as to why I was laughing. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw the people in the car behind me pointing and laughing too. They just don’t get it.

During Mitch McConnell’s tenure as Senate majority leader during Obama, he refused to recess the Senate so Obama could not make recess appointments. I get the feeling that John Thune is about to bark up that same tree for Gaetz. I can’t believe I’m gonna say this, but I’m all about it.

I have 13! And I’m STILL happier than when I had 5000 on Twitter.

The other thing that needs to happen is that Democrats need to start blowing their own horns about things that they have done. Why did we go quiet about the economy? It’s the envy of the world, but we never mentioned it during the election. Never. Not freaking once.

I don’t disagree. I think we need to look towards a younger generation. But we cannot go too far left and alienate the bigger blocks of voters. I think politeness is over. And I think we have a good bench of those types of people. Jasmine Crockett, Katie Porter, Wes Moore, AOC…

I cannot disagree more about throwing out the constitution. But I agree that we need Democrats who are just not scared to fight back. Gavin Newsome comes to mind. He is not scared.

I left Twitter more than a year and a half ago. I’ve been on Threads. It was a huge relief to leave the toxicity of Twitter. But it didn’t take long for the MAGAts to infiltrate. We just have to be vigilant. I don’t mind some intelligent discourse, I don’t want an echo chamber.

He won. This is a fool’s dream. We need to focus on the House and 2026. Let’s grit our teeth and move on.
