Yes please make an approximation of some forgotten game of the Amiga 500 for people like me who fuss about accuracy, rom revisions and archival.
Unless whoever wrote this (is it even a human anyway?) thought AI works like a database, which seems bad for a tech site (Tom's Hardware)
I'm not as sanguine as some people here about AI but that's the most stupid thing I've read this week
Did you try the Revelations games? The first one is very poverty and some gimmicks are annoying but overall I was impressed at how much they packed into those episodic spin-offs
I have yet to give 8 a chance after 7 didn't do much to me. I know they are a bit different but all I liked about the demo for 8 was the cool castle interior
Unfortunately for my sanity, I'm a sucker for the "go back to town after you progressed an inch further in the dungeon" game loop
This reminds me that I got my hands on YU-NO so that's one thing I gotta try eventually
Been a while since I went through those two. I remember them being somewhat short so that should be an easy job
All good lol I'm taking notes
Pretty excited about this one too because the synopsis is 100% in my strike zone
Had the same impressions. Story-wise they kind of just filled things up toward the end because the books were not over yet. There's a later series that redoes it from the half point but it also introduces book exclusive characters in media res, and the animation never touches that first OVA episode
Record of Lodoss War (1992) | RPG | PC Engine CD | Humming Bird Soft
Released only in Japan, this take on the famous fantasy epic featured an intro closely following the one used in the 1990 anime adaptation featuring the theme song, Adesso e Fortuna, sung by Sherry!
I deleted that post but the other day I was saying it's very obvious 連射王 is based on Toaplan shmups and the unnamed fictional company fits Toaplan's history and... I mean, just look at this table of content. Some of those chapters are namedrops of their most iconic games
Gaming Alexandria is our load-bearing pillar for access to Japanese scans and hubz is the hardest-working guy I know in game preservation, so I'd really appreciate it if we didn't destroy him with a dogpile over his vibe coding project please. Show some empathy and grace if you disagree with it.
I keep learning the funniest things
A correction: Success who did Dark Spire had a few Wizardry games released on phones prior to that
Oh hey, I had no idea Urasawa had a little drawing tips series on his yt channel! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kbmg...

Dragon Wars (1989) | RPG | PC platforms | Interplay
What began as the Bard's Tale IV became a fantasy adventure with dragons as weapons of mass destruction when the name had to be changed. It had a variety of ports such as on the Amiga where Kurt Heiden's score made great use of its hardware!
Btw I went quickly through your older posts and Moon Ghost sounds like something for me. I don't remember if you shilled it to me
StarFire has something of a neat history.
StarCraft was a Japanese studio responsible for porting a number of computer games to the PC-98 such as New World Computing's Might & Magic Xeen series. Interestingly, the same engine used in Might & Magic III was also used for StarFire.
I really dissappeared huh. can't ever figure out this social media thing.
By the way I drew some Akaviri races for Project Tamriel last December & February; Tsaesci (vampyr snek), Tang Mo (monke), Ka Po' Tun (giant tiger-men), & Kamal (ox snow demon)~extra faces included.

Well I set my mind on finally starting Horizon for real this year (I'll take breaks between arcs to read English novels) so by the time I'm done with this maybe it will be a clearer situation
Oh I skipped most of the text in the FGO section of your post so I missed the sarcasms lol
- I didn't get the memo FGO's story was over lol. Hopefully we get an offline version in the future?
Since your post got spoilers I went to the rest of your blog instead and:
- cool review of Fangaku vol1, I'm excited about this one (also if you want to go back to Owakuro he's currently rewriting it on Kakuyomu, it might make it easier for you to stick to it)
Fun OP, makes me wish gachage didn't end up making me feel stressed for some weird brain reason but I'll keep an eye on whatever comes out of it because your elevator pitch is intriguing
