I saw a celebration of the values Americans claim to make us great: opportunity, freedom, family, hard work, resilience, caring for one's neighbors, entrepreneurship, faith, and yes, strength through diversity. Oh, and Puerto Rico should be state.

Yes it is. There will not be mid-term elections.

Prediction:
1. A "state of emergency" re false election fraud will be declared on or around July 4.
2. Martial law will be declared in blue states, citing "invasion" by immigrants.
3. Mid-term elections will be cancelled due to 1 and 2.

Media should ask Trump officials: "Who do you believe won the last election in Venezuela, and shouldn't the United States work to honor the will of the Venezuelan people?"

A former State House reporter myself, I don't understand why any reporter would take such abuse. The standard response should: "You're response Mr. President is a shamefully insulting (and obvious) deflection in response to a legitimate question. Please just answer the question."

We will need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission after we defeat Trumpism.

We will need to not only fix the harms caused by the billionaires and Trumpists, we will need to rebuild our democracy.

It is a dangerous and arduous time, but with solidarity we gonna make it through.
