My hand holds a small piece of driftwood, with unbleached linen thread crocheted around it a couple times in a sort of organic web, also including a couple rows of small glass beads in green & red/brown tones.

Another angle on the same piece of driftwood, now with sewn webbing as well as crochet, still in a slightly fuzzy unbleached linen thread; now as well as a a few patches of beads, there's a black river pebble fastened down to the broadest part of the wood.
