🔍 For the thesis internal layout, we used zoomed-in areas of the drawing to illustrate the beginning of each chapter, so that the detail could be appreciated.

✏️ I've immersed myself in the intricate patterns of the bronchial tree, and using dots to bring volume and depth to the illustration. It was a beautiful (and intense) experience!

(Now) Dr. Geyer had a clear idea for her PhD thesis cover: an anatomical hand drawing of a human lung.
🫁She wanted to show the transition from a sick to a healthy lung through blue and pink shades.
