My latest dnd campaign has a spagetti western / epic blues sound track and it gives me chills.

Think Borderlands 1 meets Firefly set in Planescape / Spelljammers / Darksun (but not problematic)

I havent listenned to poppy in a LONG time! I always love mixing metal with different musical elements. I’m an especially big fan of fem fronted metal projects

Right!? The main composer David Maxim Micic is a huge influence on my own song writing - the way he ebbs and flows between ambient and bone crushing, hits my brain just right. She works with him on his solo stuff too

They also had a band called Destiny Potato thats very similar. Big recommend!

If I could start any band right now it would be a progmetal pop flavoured female fronted artrock band.

Session 0 for the new dnd campaign was a damn fun time. Ive learned so much as a DM over the years, and my players have become incredible to have at the table.

Including them in the world building and setting has been such a pleasure. Campaign 2 is gonna be buck wild.

The bass is where its at! I’m a TERRIBLE bassist, but value them the most. A good rhythmn secion makes any band sound good!

Thanks Caley! My last band was a Bruno Mars cover band. It was fun enough but half the band was not so into it.

I really want to get back into collaborative writing and jamming again. Especially something Im passionate about! The bands here are usually the same-old and I wanna do something wild!

I’m ALWAYS planning on getting a group together. My issue is always finding people. I live in a city of only 100,000 so like minded folks are hard to come by

It’s been 2 years for me. Last show I played was 2023. Last time I played a metal show was 2009. 💀
