Impressively, we were able to reconstruct nearly all asymmetric conformations previously proposed by @mishakudryashev.bsky.social. Below image shows the final outcome. Thanks @mishakudryashev.bsky.social for depositing the data.
This robust approach can be applied to process #cryoEM datasets of cyclic, pseudo-symmetric macromolecules. We’ve made our processing strategy available as user-friendly scripts on GitHub (tinyurl.com/3jenfw6j) and will soon upload a detailed tutorial using deposited 5-HT3AR dataset (EMPIAR-10381).
