I think this story would be one of the best to remake in modern times. The backstory and characterizations of the Three Who Rule are fascinating--clinging to humanity, but not wanting to be human---"But why am I still afraid?"

Enoch being Russell’s son blew my mind—somehow Russell’s real surname being Enoch had escaped me, and the father-son relationship would never have occurred to me de novo given the well above average age gap.

Reminds me of my shock recently when William Russell died and discovering that other Potter actor, Alfred Enoch, who is his son. Odd DW connections!

Back then, I hated the 7th Doctor, I hated Ace, I hated the music, basically I hated everything. Now I have come to appreciate most--although I still think McCoy is generally a poor actor.

I’ve tried to watch DS9 so many times. I want to love it. But I just can’t get past the consistently terrible acting by a few of the principal cast.
Makes me appreciate Lis Sladen, Louise Jameson, and others who seemed so natural 100% of the time.
