My pet tanking fix has always been a 22-team flat odds lottery, all teams that don’t advance in the playoffs.

We now know a team will prefer to miss the playoffs to be one of 14 teams with a shot at Cooper Flagg. Nobody will want to lose a playoff series to be one of 22.
