In just eleven weeks the @nionwomen.bsky.social petition organised by cis women who are fed up with transphobia being imposed in their name has obtained 1,000 more signatures than the transphobic one did in six years.

Transphobia is not popular.

Don't you just love it when an app updates, then breaks everything and you can't unpatch so you've just lost functionality until it gets fixed?

Ok, so I got the first name on the account that it was being charged to, not someone I know. So refund from Uber Eats, so that's good at least. Still, new card and having to fix all my payment details sucks but ohh well.

Not wrong, I raised a ticket with them, but who knows if/when that'll get looked at.

Nevermind, you can't call them. There's no contact number.

I was, but I don't think they had my card details. Ohh, wait, it was a Qantas rewards credit card...

God damn it, someone stole my card details somewhere and now I have to get a new card and dispute $340 of Uber Eats charges... I didn't even know Uber Eats was available in my town.

Yesterday I attended a great session on gendered violence and I wanted to share some of the slides that came from that and just how they impact how we see gendered violence within LGBTQIA+ communities.

Every time I get close to 500 listings for the @trans.au directory, I have to remove one. I'm 2 away and it's been edging me for a week now.

Officially unemployed!

Today's my last day in the office at my current job and it's surreal to think that I may never come back into this building again or see many of these people again.

Today's my Abbieversary! My 6 year anniversary of starting hormones. I'm honestly so proud of how far I've come. It's been a long time coming, but I'm so happy now.

So 2nd round interview went really well, I think I've got a great chance of finding out tomorrow whether or not I've got the job and it's probably a good thing tbh. I'm happy with this.

Ok, so, I've got 1 week left of my current job, but on Monday, I get to go through round 2 of the interviews because apparently they liked my first round interview, so that's cool. Now, let's see I get any time off between jobs.

Job interview #1 done. That was nerve wracking and I was stumbling over myself with a lack of understanding but I'd be very happy to work for this company.

And I've got my first job interview in 10 years on Thursday. Today's a good day for me considering the last few weeks of stress about employment and everything else.

So I got a great email asking whether @trans.au can be listed as part of a government information packet for additional information and I'm so honoured to be listed on this!

So looks like I'm being made redundant at work. Tried to fight it, it did't land, so now I need to find a new job...

I do back end dev mostly, but in my city there's not a lot of work since I'm out of Melbourne.

First thing this morning, I found out that I was being made redundant in my job as an application developer. I'll be fighting to keep it but I only have a week to make my case at the moment. But it's a tough time right now.

Unfortunately, I don't think the legislation has passed in Victoria for anti-vilification issues just yet. It's still going through parliament here.
