As for passenger car combat, it could actually be fun design challenge.
You got a long line of tiles, and characters can only switch positions by using tiles to the side.
It definitely works best on a drawn map.

- passenger cars have too much scenery inside
- asymmetrical wargames are extremely rare to begin with. It would probably work better as a solo game.
- also, it would probably work better with cardboard terrain.

I actually dropped a model this size once.
It was a Warmachine thing, about 150g weight. It was very hard to hold (and rotate) while painting.
The model remained in one piece, but with some parts bent.
There are just three materials I avoid, and all three have to do with priming difficulties.
