Glasgow automatic voter registration pilot proposed to tackle falling election turnout A motion is being brought before full council this Thursday to discuss ways to increase democratic engagement

🗳 Absolutely delighted that the Council backed my resolution to volunteer Glasgow as one of Scotland's first local authorities to pilot automatic voter registration to make it as easy as possible for citizens to take part in elections.

I welcome that other parties back our Budget that will grow the economy, strengthen our NHS and deliver winter heating payments.

Meanwhile, Labour and Tories are high on rhetoric, low on delivery.
