GM Tip: While there's no need to prepare every detail, don't under-prepare because you were afraid your efforts would be wasted. Nothing you make is ever wasted. You can use it later, in this campaign or the next. Even if you never use it, the practice still made you a better GM.

Don't perform. It's counterproductive.

Instead dems:
1. Introduce bills to help all Americans
2. Constantly talk about how they would help, if passed.
3. Emphasize how they help maga voters without being obvious about it.

Yep. And I think my players have figured out that if they ask for a name, and it's the name of someone you might meet on the street and Iowa, I didn't know their name.

Does the technical guidance go something like:

Step one: write half a book.
Step two: write 8 second halves to the book, half of which end in the death of the protagonist.
Step three: throw all the pages from step two into the air, collect without sorting, and bind.

The death of Tasha so early in the series was unfortunate, but every time she appears later in the series, even if it's just as a hologram, it makes quite an impact.
