So we're talking about a hybrid of additive and wavetable synthesis, powered by harmonic analysis/re-synthesis of analog synthesizer waveforms. Here's one from Dreadbox Artemis: original at the top, reconstruction at the bottom.
We are working on a new-generation oscillator that will combine mathematically perfect waveform reproduction (including from legendary analog/digital synths) with absolutely zero aliasing (and no use of oversampling). This will be our next chapter!

Interesting we will have a look! Generally no need for that liking of software, as Terminal here is mostly for running small commands e.g. to launch the Docker environment or to run "make". We also have all of the product packaging handled by our custom shell scripts.

Yes the microKORG2 supports both oscillator and effect plugs. The oscillator format is similar to the NTS-1 mkII though a bit more complex – since you generate 8 voices in a single plugin instance.
