The solution is an effective education system and independent journalism.
We have had neither for decades.
This is everything
Yes, rights can be taken away by due process (back when it existed). The right to vote cannot be denied because of voting poorly.
That would mean no actual free elections.
Blaming idiot voters, however accurate, obscures the systemic rot which is the root cause of failure.
When these clowns say “hit them hard,” they are using the language of a war of attrition.
Here are some recent wars of attrition:
Korea, 1953
Vietnam, 1975
Iraq, 2011
Afghanistan, 2021
Ukraine, (2026?)
In each case, the side with the obvious initial advantage was worn down to failure.
Rights are neither deserved, nor undeserved, sir. Rights are inherent. It is more useful to understand why people vote to destroy their own peace and prosperity.
Hitler’s invasion of the USSR could’ve worked, had he focused on Moscow and St Petersburg. But he wanted Stalingrad, simply out of spite for its namesake.
In Stalingrad, Hitlers army died. Not only was it overextended, but they had not prepared logistics and supply to fight through winter.
They’re not just doing bad things. They’re doing them badly: unprepared, reactive, grasping at straws, and reeking of desperation.
I present Operation Barbarossa, in which the mad, naked emperor lost his evil war and saved the world.

Trump on Ukraine's offer to help with anti-drone defense: "No, we don't need Ukraine's help"
But if there is anyway to help Russia..
Yes—you're reading this NYT report right: Israel shrieked at Lebanese civilians (including women, kids, and the elderly) to "FLEE FOR YOUR LIVES!", Denethor-style, then...
...bombed the bridge they needed to use to flee.
This war is evil. Those launched it are evil. No good person fails to see it.

I’m sorry that you have stumbled into my personal hell.
Hahahhahahahaha toy soldier really hopes you think the military academy is the military!

Incredible that just 24 hours after this tweet, it's being reported that America is preparing to put boots on the ground in Iran.
I talked to an old lady and she mentioned that she'd been looking for a part time job for awhile and hadn't had any luck and I got her an interview so I guess I did something good today
I read the “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Most of the media apparently *hasn’t* read it because, if they had, they would be sounding the alarm about the provision in Point 1, below, which almost none of them have even mentioned. I hope this summary helps raise awareness. 1/

Bombshell news from my dad today regarding @katmabu.bsky.social and the financial advisor I didn’t know he had
EXCLUSIVE | Kristi Noem awarded $1 billion in contracts to build the Mexican border wall to a company accused of smuggling illegal immigrants into the country, giving them guns, and allowing them to take part in a wild shootout.
By the time the average person understands the need for open defiance, it may well be too late.
It's time for the collective to face the reality of our situation.
We're not voting our way out of this, we're all going to have to remove this authoritarian regime by other means.
The free press is no more, that's our cue.
No more cognitive dissonance.
HOLY SHIT.
A dark money group, hidden behind a bunch of shell companies, is paying influencers thousands of dollars PER POST to attack @katmabu.bsky.social on social media a month before her election.
Thank you to the people who declined the money and went forward with this. So who's behind this?
Good grief.
YES OR NO: Do you support Hakeem Jeffries continued leadership?
Well said.
Let there be as much outrage from politicians in Washington when kids go hungry as there is when I break bread with New Yorkers.
